I've been thinking about what has been my Breakthrough Song of 2018 has been.

Drake, Maroon 5, Cardi B, Ariana Grande and of course Loud Luxury - there has been a lot of great releases in 2018. But there has been 1 song that I have enjoyed mixing more than others. It's got cool strings and melodies, nice driving tempo and some really smooth lyrics. Plus, it kicks up the mix every time I play it.

The honours for Breakthrough Song of 2018 goes to Rae Sremmurd, Swae Lee, Slim Jxmmi with their smash 'Powerglide' ft Juicy J. When I first heard this track, I knew it would a tune that I drop any time I get the chance. The song is straight up ?! With, currently, almost 131 Million streams on YouTube, this song has gotten a lot of love. It's the 3rd single from Rae Sremmund's 3rd studio album SR3MM. I'm pretty sure it's still gonna be dropped a lot in 2019.
